Born in Christchurch and raised in Auckland, Christopher received a Bachelor and Master of Commerce (Business Administration) from the University of Canterbury in 1992.
Christopher worked for Unilever for 18 years in New Zealand and around the world, ending up as President and CEO of Unilever Canada.
In 2011, he was named CEO of Air New Zealand, a post he held until he stepped down in late 2019.
Moving into politics, Christopher is now the National Party candidate for the Botany electorate in the 2020 general election.
Christopher lives in Auckland with his wife Amanda and their two children.
