The Parenting Place is an organisation dedicated to supporting whānau to thrive. They aim to inspire, encourage, and support the strengthening of your relationships through parenting courses, family coaching, providing postnatal support and dynamic in-school education.

From 1997 to 2001, Greg was general manager of The Parenting Place. Between then and returning to The Parenting Place in 2015, Greg was CEO of the Venn Foundation which he co-founded to provide unique educational opportunities for young adults keen to be involved in social innovation. He is also the Founding Chair of Te Whakaora Tangata, an organisation restoring hundreds of families in poverty through relationship mentoring and practical support. Greg co-founded and was CEO of the Maxim Institute for 12 years, a public policy think tank which has researched a range of issues including taxation, education, justice and welfare. Greg is also chairman of Compass Foundation Australia and is involved with JH Aotearoa, which provides adventure experiences for parents and teenagers who are keen to deepen their relationship.

Hailing from the Wairarapa and qualified as a chartered accountant at Victoria University, Greg Flemming started out working in accountancy and marketing in London, and now has more than 20 years of experience in leadership of not-for-profit organisations.

In 2005, Greg was honoured with a prestigious Sir Peter Blake Trust Emerging Leader Award. He and his wife Kirsty have five children.
